WHY WE STRUGGLE THROUGH WINTER

I woke up this morning with a quiet excited-ness about me that I haven't experienced in years. The last time may have been the first day of high school. The night before is a restless sleep, full of wonderment about the upcoming day and the beginning of an exciting time. Well, I awoke with much the same feeling today. There was nothing too special about this day that should stir such a feeling, nothing grand that is happening or even noteworthy to mention in the blog today.

I could only muster up one idea, an idea which hit me like a snow storm and would not leave my mind all day. I was excited, not because I got a new loofa, which is always a good day indeed. My shower this morning was so fresh, if you don't use loofas, you are missing out on what could be the best part of any shower. It is not only the best way to get rid of dead skin cells, but beyond that, it feels as though Helen of Troy is washing your body herself. It is something grand, do not hate... try it.

It is hard to put into words the beauty in which I am about to tell you. Imagine you were a kid and you realized that every imaginable friend you had was real; and everyone athlete you pretended to be was not a coke addicted sex addict, instead every perfect thing about this world was actually real and attainable. To sum up in a few short words what has begun to come upon the world would not do favor to the true situation at hand. For, the only reason we all suffer through those cold winter nights; the days of torture while beautiful women are covered up head to toe with parkas and rain boots. That is right gentlemen....SUNDRESS SEASON HAS COMMENCED!!

The season of sundresses has got to be a favorite of mine. I refuse to call it spring or summer, it does not do justice. SUNDRESS season gives men reason to leave the house. It shows us that putting up with gloomy winter days and cold winter nights does pay off in the end. The girls shed their winter coats and out blossoms such sexy and scantily clad sundresses.

All of our hopes are strung on the fact that a summer breeze will carelessly lift up that loose fabric just enough to see what it is they are playfully hiding. Not too much, but just enough to bring a smile to your face, and adjust your belt as needed. The season is upon us, do not let these days pass so easily. Do not be rude and discourteous to that fact that all these women put on these simple dresses not to stay cool in the summer sun. But rather to give us whiplash so bad that only a shot of whiskey and codein could settle down the pain.

Enjoy this time of year, winter comes too quick.

It is indeed a grand season. Did it officially start today? I was thinking it was Friday.

It acts almost the same as groundhog day does. Does the groundhog really see his shadow? Is there really going to be another couple weeks of winter. Who knows, but it slowly starts getting warmer. As do sundresses, they slowly start popping out in the streets. Slowly but surely, the brave ones are the first to rock them, soon enough though. The streets are flooded like sunflower fields.

So on March 15th Punxsutawney Phil looks up three sundresses and if he sees any panties it will still be 3 weeks until sundress season?
